Take a flying leap:

Roman Nose Mountain/loneoak.jpg

Last year I did make some improvements to the property. The first was to clear selectively some of the wood for this crushed rock access road. It's about 500 feet long, and connects to an existing road that runs up from the base of the mountain. It's quite steep and twisty in places, and is in rough shape in others.

I had carefully marked which trees NOT to remove. This oak standing guard over the road is one of them.
